You must have heard of the high profile fight between Chris and Rihanna which made news for several weeks. Now there is a rumour that Rihanna is dating Andrew Bynum, the Los Angeles Lakers Basketball player. They were spotted together last weekend sitting down to an intimate dinner at Mastro’s Steakhouse in Beverly Hills. One source has even remarked, “They looked very couple-y, sitting real close to each other in the car.” However Andrew Bynum denied they were dating when asked by TMZ.com with a simple ‘Nope’, he made it very clear that no romance was involved. Since the break up with Chris, this was the first time Rihanna was seen with someone else.

While certain sources have maintained that the two had dinner together, there is an interesting report which says an altogether different tale “Andrew was having dinner at Mastro’s with his brother and Rihanna was also having dinner there that night, but they were not together. They were simply both having dinner at the same restaurant the same night.”

Another Source reveals that Rihanna is now quietly living with R&B star suggesting that their relationship has been established again. Family and friends have asked Rihanna to stay away from Chris but Rihanna seems to love him too deeply to be able to part with him.

Who ever she’s with, hope she doesn’t get slapped again.

According to TMZ, Chris Brown and Rihanna were together for a recording session at a Santa Monica, Calif., recording studio. The music producer, Polow da Don felt that the choice of the two for the love duet was ideal as it was the perfect timing to capitalize on their “heightened emotions.” At first, the lyrics was completed and it was decided that Rihanna would make a sole performance. But later, Polow da Don felt the need for the track to be completed as a duet. The song centres around a couple and all the issues they must overcome. Sources associated with the TMZ reported that “the feeling in the room was pure love.” The project has been going on for the past couple of days and the disc is expected to be released sometime during fall.

Following the alleged drama where Rihanna was brutally beaten up, the 21-year old turned down quiet a number of requests to perform until recently when she agreed to do this duet. Meanwhile, TMZ has also spilled the beans about the woman who sparked off the squabbling. Tina Davis, the 40-year old with whom Brown had been formerly having a relationship left a text message on Brown’s mobile. The message that talked about the two meeting up later made Rihanna’s gorge rise. The music producer and friend of the couple, Adonis Shropshire was the only one who spoke up. He said; ““You have to remember, she’s a kid still, So with anybody who goes through something in the world, you have to bring yourself out of it…I guess her refuge is her music.”

Chris Brown had to make his court appearance on March 5^th but it is uncertain if the court appearance will happen, due to lack of evidence. Los Angeles district attorney spokeswoman Jane Robison tells E! News that if the detectives need more time to gather evidence, a new date might be fixed for him to come to court. Once the investigations are over and the LAPD hands over the evidence to the DA, the prosecutors will be able to tell if felony charges are to be filed or the charges can not be considered on account of lack of evidence or if the case can be referred to city attorney’s office if the whole incident was found to be a mere misdemeanor violation.

In the meanwhile, the 19-year old singer is terrorized on receiving some annoying messages which have been sent to him after the publication of a photo of a battered woman believed to be Rihanna. This photograph of a bruised woman appeared on the Internet and LAPD hasn’t confirmed yet if the photo is that of Rihanna’s. Not enough Chris fears that he might lose his career and girl friend, there appears to be threats to his life too. The latest news is that he’s taking some anger management classes. Hope things become better for him.

And what do you think Rihanna is doing now. She was seen in the beach of Mexico in a private oceanfront villa along with a group of friends to celebrate her 21^st birthday. The injuries inflicted during the assault as was seen in the photos were no longer found on her face.

The brawl between Rihanna and Chris Brown couldn’t have drawn more public attention. Investigations are underway and the cops are probing in to the case to unravel more details. Reports to E! News suggest that Rihanna who recounted the incident to police was choked by Brown, was threatened to be killed and subsequently fell unconscious.

During Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy party late Saturday, the two began bickering and after midnight things went out of control. Brown pulled over at a street in L.A.’s Hancock Park neighborhood. Rihanna took the car keys, threw them out of the windows. This provoked Brown who couldn’t find the keys after a brief search. The enraged Brown then put his hand around her neck and said, “ I am going to kill you.” The 20 year old singer lost her consciousness and when she woke up, she discovered he had left the spot. Rihanna whose eyes had blackened and were badly swollen with hand prints on her arms was rushed to hospital by the Officers in their squad car. She had undergone treatment at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. The cops have captured two photos of the injured singer, one at the locale of the incident and the other at the hospital.

The 19-year old Brown was booked on suspicion of making criminal threats. He was released on a $50,000 bail.

Chris has had his GOT MILK and Wrigley’s gum ads suspended while Rihanna has cancelled her 21^st birthday party to be held on February 20^th. Rihanna’s grandmother informed that she is doing well now.

Although the exact reason for the squabbling is yet to be determined, the possible theory could be Chris who was dating Rihanna for quiet some time received a call from a certain young lady while he was driving and things blew up from then on.

How it would be if somebody had to walk up the dais and receive an award that is later taken away because it is actually won by somebody else? Katy Perry was put in a similar situation at the NRJ Music Award at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes France on Saturday. This is a French version of the Grammy Awards. Her name was announced for Best International Song Of The Year Award for “I Kissed a Girl.” and she was thrilled to know that she had won in two categories. But only towards the end did she come to know that she had actually won only Best International Album for “One of the Boys”. It was Rihanna to have really won Best International Song Of The Year Award for “Disturbia.”

The results were worked out weeks before the ceremony on NRJ’s website based on votes given by the audience. At the end of the show however, the host apologized saying that there was an error in counting of votes and Rihanna was to be the recipient of Best International Song Of The Year Award.

Sources disclosed that Nikos Aliagas said; “We are terribly sorry, but we made a mistake. It wasn’t Katy Perry who was supposed to pick up the Best International Song, but Rihanna with Disturbia, we hope Rihanna and Katy Perry won’t be too upset and we apologize for all the fans who voted for them. The wrong name was put in the envelope. We’re really terribly sorry. Katy Perry will have to give her (award) to Rihanna.”

The Best International group was awarded to The Pussycat Dolls and Enrique Iglesias won top international male artist. Britney Spears couldn’t make it to the Festivals at Cannes though she was named for international artist of the year.
